Although Epi4Dogs Foundation Inc is a USA based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization… because we have some registered UK and EU forum members and also for those in the EU/UK that fill out the EPI Registry form … we will adhere to the EU/UK GDPR guidelines as follows:

Epi4Dogs Foundation, Inc 501(c)(3) is a non-profit charitable educational organization. WHO HAS YOUR DATA
When you register with Epi4Dogs Foundation Inc., the special categories of personal data concern are: your email address, your country/state origin, your dog/cat name and pet’s pertinent EPI health-related information.
WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR THE DATA
The legal basis for your email information and your pet’s EPI health-related information is to:
(a) Benefit the advancement of EPI research and
(b) Help promote EPI awareness/advancements by email announcements directly from Epi4Dogs staff only.
3rd PARTY DATA EXPOSURE
Any and all EPI personal data is never sold to any 3rd parties. All Epi4Dogs Foundation Inc data will remain in-house.
HOW WILL THE INFORMATION BE USED
(a) All Registered Forum Member data is saved in-house only and used for Epi4Dogs Announcements only. For example, blind copy emails may be sent to announce: Available New EPI Tools or New EPI Information/EPI Articles, Upcoming Research Projects, Research Findings, Upcoming Fund Raising Events, blind-copy emails may be sent to members in disaster struck areas with Epi4Dogs offering EPI-related assistance (Hurricane Harvey/Florida Floods/Calif Fires), or Epi4Dogs Foundation Inc may share company-related announcements, etc.
(b) All EPI Registry Member data is saved in-house for upcoming EPI research projects. We are the only EPI Registry in the world to compile Canine EPI data that Vet Schools depend on for EPI Research statistics. When a new EPI Research Project becomes available, EPI Registry candidates are contacted privately by Epi4Dogs staff first for explicit permission to be a possible participant in the EPI Research project, and later (if an appropriate candidate for the research) the member will be contacted for permission to be contacted directly by approved veterinarian research principals conducting said EPI Research.
HOW LONG WILL THE DATA BE STORED
There is no end date to data storage due to the EPI Registry using EPI health related statistics (with personal data omitted) for compiling historical EPI data.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT / OPT OUT
