Came across these while searching for slippery elm. Are these a viable treat you can give an EPI dog occasionally? Has anyone ever tried them?

hi Bill... i looked up the ingredients and these are pre+probiotics with enzymes added.... so yes these are perfectly fine to give....but not as a treat, but rather as a pre+probiotics..... so only give according to directions as you don't want to overload on any pre+probiotic.

The fact that they added fungal enzymes is an added benefit, BUT..... don't count on the added fungal enzymes in this product to sustain your dog's EPI condition..........it is jsut a nice additive of enzymes that helps a little :)

the ingredients are:
Brewers Dried Yeast, Dried Potato Product, Glycerin, Flaxseed, Lecithin, Canola Oil, Calcium Sulfate, Fructooligosaccharides, Dried Aspergillus oryzae Fermentation Product, Dried Aspergillus niger Fermentation Solubles. Dried Trichoderma longibrachiatum Fermentation Product, Papaya, Dried Bacillus coagulans Fermentation Product, Natural Flavoring, Water, Tapioca Starch, Maltodextrin. Sorbic Acid (a preservative), Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative), Vegetable Oil
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
