Re: Question about boarding epi pups
Yes, I too measure everything out and put it in bags for whoever is watching my pup. It works fine, they can add the liquid when it's time to feed. Have a good trip!

Re: Need Advice!!
Hi and welcome to the forum! Sorry your boy is struggling so. The beginning is the hardest part as you try to dial in to your boy's specific needs. As Jill said, there are 4 cornerstones--but each dog responds a little differently so sometimes we need to "tweak" things and find his perfect...

Re: New to EPI
Hi and welcome to the forum. You have gotten some good info, I just wanted to address the smell question. My girl smelled horrible in the beginning, like a combination of sour vomit and cat pee. Truly horrendous. During that period, I washed her bedding frequently and gave her baths as often as her ...

Re: Mei - doubtful EPI diagnosis (?)
Welcome to the forum, glad you found us. She is super cute! Her B12 is low, even after the injections. Are you still giving them? Some dogs just aren't able to hold the B12 levels, so going with a daily capsule might work better for you, or a combination of pills and injections. Some find the pills ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!
Yes, some have B12 retested to see if what they are using to supplement is working. I looked back to see Sassy's TLI result, and she is definitely EPI, so don't re do the TLI test. Too expensive and unnecessary, once confirmed it won't change.

Re: Nova and me new to EPI and this forum
Yep, Jill is right about the chicken. Some but not all EPI dogs do not tolerate chicken in any form. But many do, for example my girl is fine with chicken. I would wait to add salmon oil or coconut oil for now. They both can be good things, but until things are stable, meaning good poops for a month...
