Re: Food Intolerances
Alright, a little bit confused about the beef enzymes now. I actually started him on Ancestral as it was referred to as an alternative in THIS forum via; https://epi4dogs.com/porcine-allergy/ His reaction to pork enzymes once prescribed from the vet were incredibly non-responsive for his issue. Goin...

Re: Food Intolerances
They are starting (2022) to use fecal transplantation to manage food allergies in people / children.... and the reports are that it is successful. This is INCREDIBLY interesting. I'm definitely going to look into this. https://www.epi4dogs.com/forum/search.php?author_id=2060&sr=posts these are ...

Re: Food Intolerances
Errr, he goes from slightly more normal poops to sometimes almost uncontrollable diarrhea whilst eating that specific food, despite being given the same amount of food and the same amount of enzyme or even increasing the enzyme. He tends to be more itchy on top of that happening.

Re: Food Intolerances
There have been such a ridiculous amount of different prescription foods tried on him that I can't remember them all (I should have kept a better track) and it would probably be more reasonable to just try certain ones again. We were originally having issues when he was a very small puppy and trying...

Re: Beef Enzyme alternatives
Interesting. In respect to the normal pork enzyme amount, how much is the amount that you would feed? I'd be very willing to give it a try with him.

Food Intolerances
Has anyone had experience with their dog continuously growing intolerant of different foods? I can only speculate at this point because it's been such a mess of trying to figure out and balance this with the ridiculous price hikes that enzymes and prescription dog foods have taken, but it really see...

Re: Beef Enzyme alternatives
I totally forgot I had this thread open, but it seems to have been commandeered somewhat by someone else's questions and confused with parts of mine, so I'll attempt to counter-steer. I'm currently giving my dog 2-3 teaspoons of BEEF enzyme, not pork. Pork he would still have been receiving 1 teaspo...

Re: Beef Enzyme alternatives
My dog does SEEM to be intolerant to pork enzyme. When first diagnosed, the vet had us try 3 or 4 quite expensive, different prescription enzymes all to the same effect. He was having virtually all of the same diarrhea issue as he was without. Once I switched him over to Ancestral Supplements, the i...

Beef Enzyme alternatives
Does anyone know of any good, affordable beef enzymes? Unfortunately Enzyme Diane is unable to stock hers. I emailed and she suggested Thrive Enzymes as an alternative, but with all of the amounts that I've calculated so far, I would need to order 8 bottles of 90grams per month to cover a 65lb Sheph...
