Re: TLI changes?

No blood test will tell you if enzymes are working or not. Only you can determine that by looking at poops and how it improves after starting treatment. That and if the dog gains weight (assuming of course that weight loss was an issue). Testing cTLI is a waste of money (although I also had a vet wa...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

Oh right. I forgot that Nina was always on a very high enzyme dose. I know Olesia's formula equating 1 tsp of enzymes. That helps some; but it's harder since I don't know how to equate cups of kibble to lbs of raw meat. And Rylee has never had powdered enzymes; so I have no idea how much she would n...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

Oh yay for perfect poops!! Very good!! Glad you persevered! Can I ask what dose of enzymes you ended off with vs your normal dose? I still need to sit down and crunch numbers to compare her Creon dose. I'm about ready to order the capsules from Amazon today; just for fun. Just want to try to reach s...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

From webmd: "Diarrhea, constipation, headache, abdominal pain/cramps/bloating, gas, cough, nausea, or vomiting may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly". It's possible I erroneously considered regular nausea/vomiting as acid reflux in hi...

Re: When to test...please help advise

Not sure if the ball thrower would work for her. She's not a very independent dog  She always has to be playing with people or dogs! Vet appointment today. We talked for a long time. I told her I wasn't completely sold on the IBD theory. Symptoms just don't match. Square peg, round hole! She sa...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

In theory, you don't have to worry about too much enzymes causing acid reflux. That is mostly caused by the stomach acid. Since the enzymes pretty much bypass the stomach, there should be no reactivity there. That; I am not so sure about. Chance (we know had EPI and no other GI issues). He was on C...

Re: When to test...please help advise

Ooh I wish there was something to help make this looney toon more tired! She just NEVER stops. She makes me tired watching her. If I had 1/10th of her energy, I could take over the world! And the world's energy crisis would be over. If I could bottle it; there would be no concerns about being able t...

CBD did not help. But I haven't tried it since enzymes. Only before.
