Help I think my dog has epi
Re: Help I think my dog has epi
Hello everyone
Thank you for answering
I just got assisi loop yesterday and had been using on him. I noticed a decent poops and he seem more energetic ever. I am very grateful for you all.
I would like to make a donation for epi4dog. I want to help you guys also. Can I make an international wire transfer to epi4dog? I don’t have PayPal. I tend to have a lot of bad lucks with scammers so I avoid PayPal.
Thank guys:)

HI Nat,
Ahhh that is so very kind of you to want to give back to Epi4Dogs... we really appreciate it, but no we do not accept wire transfers.... but thank you for the offer.... that is truly very thoughtful of you. We accept credit cards donations, but it is done via the PayPal donate button.
SO.... what i do want to say is that i am THRILLED that you got the Assisi Loop.... i am a firm believer in electromagnetic therapy. I personally use PEMF for myself and it has helped me dramatically. In addition we have had an EPI case where the EPI dog had surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. The vet suggested PEMF therapy to help with the knee's healing. Within 3 weeks....what the owners noticed is that all of a sudden the dog's EPI condition improved! The poo's were the best ever and the owner said nothing else had changed except for the PEMF treatment (they used a pad vs. the loop, but the technology is the same).
My goal is to pursue a mini-study using pulsating electromagnetic therapy on a few EPI dogs to see if it does indeed improve the EPI condition.... either it addresses the inflammation and that is why the poo's improved ... or.... it addresses cell acinar cell regeneration (which supposedly can happen if there are still some viable acinar cells in the exocrine pancreas).... BUT my understanding is that the researchers just don't know yet how to make this happen.
If you can... i would LOVE to continue to hear how Nobel does, not only with the EPI protocol treatment that you are doing, but also feedback with regards to the Assisi Loop.

Re: Help I think my dog has epi
Wow...that's really interesting about PEMF helping with EPI! IF (big IF) that did help with EPI, it would pay for itself very quickly!!
If a study is ever done on that, I'd love to follow along!

Chance was my 4 legged soul mate. My mobility assist service dog. Pure yellow Lab, 75 lbs. After struggling with weight all his life, finally dx with EPI. cTLI < 1, folate and B12 very low. Fed Raw. Maintained with Creon, Garden of Life probiotic and intermittent calcium bentonite clay. (Tylosin was a big nightmare for him)!
Rylee is Chance's successor; also pure Yellow/Fox red Lab. Started with symptoms at 8 weeks. At 6 months of age, also prescribed Creon due to suspected EPI (due to passing large amounts of undigested food). Currently suspected of blockages in pancreatic ducts. She is maintained VERY nicely on Creon and probiotics. Also raw fed.

Re: Help I think my dog has epi
Thanks Andrea.....if we do do a mini study i would LOVE to have Rylee participate. that would be wonderful. I have tried to research it "why" it
appears to have helped these EPI patients and i cannot honestly tell if it is because it truly is regenerating some acinar cells or because it truly reduces inflammation.
I have been a strong supporter/fan of PEMF for years .. but i noticed more and more research is being done with it, with amazing results and iit is starting to become mainstream.

Hello everybody
Thank for answering
I will ask my brother if he has PayPal. I want to help epi4dogs. Epi4dog is a savior so I want to support any way I can. I will let you guys know when i donate.
For the Assisi loop it definitely help nobel. I use it on him 2 times once in the morning and in the evening. Now my mother is using Assisi loop too even though it’s for dog but she said it helps her joint and her tonsils. She had an operation once. She couldn’t sleep very well after she uses Assisi loop she can sleep better. Now they are both sharing. My brother want to use it too but the line is long right now. I used it on my brother first before I use it on nobel. He is my guinea pig. He said it helps his knee.
When I use assisi loop he makes some noise like what are you putting on me and complain a lot. Consistently whining but he tend to get healthier and has more energy. His poop seem to improve more in the morning. Three time firm poop in morning is a lot for me to be happy for. My mother said it’s like he gains his strength back and starts to complain like a spoil kid 5555.
Is there a epi4dogs page i can find for PayPal donation? Thank guys I will keep you updated
I recommend this technology for human too.
I wanna try the lounge but the difference between usa voltage and thailand voltage 210v makes me unsure about its efficiency . I email them but no reply. Have a nice day

Re: Help I think my dog has epi
Hi Nat,
Thank you for the update on Nobel... and your mom and brother with the Assisi Loop.... i am smiling big time right now because i am so glad the Assisi Loop is helping everyone in your family !!!!
AHhhhhh.... Nobel is obviously a very well-loved pup.... that is fantastic that he is delivering great firm poos in the morning .... and is energized afterwards.
Thank you for still wanting to contribute to Epi4Dogs...... yes.... you can go to this page at at the top there is a "donate" button... just click and that and it will walk you thru the steps to donate with a credit card or paypal. https://epi4dogs.com/donate-donations/.
Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the button to appear on the page....
And please do keep us updated on Nobel and how he is doing.
Oh... and when you say " wanna try the lounge but the difference between usa voltage and thailand voltage 210v makes me unsure about its efficiency"
If you mean PEMF pad when you say "lounge".... look for PEMF pads that are made in Germany...... German PEMF pads are highly rated and that might address the difference in voltage.

Re: Help I think my dog has epi
WAIT...OK...SO...If I buy an assisi loop & my husband wears it around his neck, it could help with his arthritis pain??? Does anybody have a link they could share, to educate me a little further? I see the assisi loop on Amazon, but since I've never even heard of this before, I'd love to do a little snooping. Thanks---P

Re: Help I think my dog has epi
Hi Pam.... it would need to be placed on his neck, i don't think you can fit it over his head to wear around his neck... but yes... it should help with arthritis.
I personally use infrared red light for arthritis in my shoulder and lower back disc degeneration AND i use PEMF (pulsating electro magnetic therapy) which is what the Assisi Loop is, although i use the pad to lay on... takes longer but i do this everyday at the end of the day when i am vegging out watching mindless tv
Pam.... look up electro magnetic therapy for arthritis. THis technology has been around for about 40 years..... but as "alternative" medicine..... and it is just now starting to be mainstream cuz they are doing more research with it and finding out it is a non-invasive way to help many ailments.

Probably the best thing to do first is have a clinic "try" the Assisi loop on your hubby first before purchasing the item. OR.... check around to see who does Pulsating Electromagnetic Therapy in your area.... and have your hubby try a few sessions....
