Hi Jenn. Welcome to you and Buddy. Sorry he's not doing great. Since you haven't got the results of his tests back yet, I'll just give you the abridged version---

(Did Buddy fast for 12 hours before his blood draw?
Three days is too soon to judge his poo, I think. Definitely want to give 3 teaspoons per 3 cups of food.)

Food should be grain-free, less than 4% fiber. I feed Sport Dog Elite, herding dogs. Grains can interfere with the enzymes.

Break his daily serving into 3 or four meals, and add enzymes appropriately. Just like Barb said.

For now, let's just leave it at that. There's more to the protocol, but we are not yet positive Buddy has EPI.

The ratio of 1 cup food/1 teaspoon enzymes works for most of us, and since you are new at this my thought would be to stick with that.

When you get Buddy's test results, please post them & tell us some more about him. What are his symptoms? How old is he? How much does/should he weigh?

Can't wait to hear back from you!---Pam & Tucker (you can read our signature below, to see the routine that works for Tucker)
