Re: Elvira, 10.5 month old GSD, recently diagnosed.
when re-checking the B12.... 1. she needs to not have received any B12 shots for 30 days. or... 2. she needs to not have received any oral B12 for the past 1 week regarding training... what you can do is just before her training class.... make a mush of some of her dog food with the right amount of ...

Re: Bad poops after post-surgery antibiotics
Hi RMM, Since you are giving 2 tsps of EnzymeDiane 6x per meal..... if you were stuffing the 6x enzymes into a regular gel coated capsules cap - my estimation is that you would need to give fill 6 capsules (size 00) to equal 1 tsp of 6x (i just tried this with some regular empty gel caps and the pow...

Hi Kirsten and thanks for those questions..... and you are correct... it does sound very confusing. First... let me address your dog's loose stools....then i'll answer the questions. What you are describing sounds like SID/SIBO/Dysbiosis. ALL dogs with EPI have this... and it almost always repeatedl...

Re: Elvira, 10.5 month old GSD, recently diagnosed.
Hi Julie, i personally would not leave any food around for "free-feeding" opportunities just in case Elvira sneaks a bite or two throughout the day . WIth some dogs, ANY food that is not treated with enzymes will trigger loose stools.... and yet with some dogs, they can handle a little &qu...

i too would not reduce the enzymes, but rather make sure she is drinking enough water, and maybe add some fresh veggies and fruit to the meals. ALso...as mentioned above, she might be getting too much bone if you changed the diet,,,,,,,

Re: Bad poops after post-surgery antibiotics
Hmmmmmmm.....if you REALLY think it is the enzymes and since you have tried all those toppers..... there are a few more things you can try: 1. CREON ... which is enteric coated little enzyme pellets so that CHekov will not be able to taste any enzymes. I can send you some donated CREON to try... if ...

thanks for the update Diane.... so sorry i am late to responding.....
This is great news and YES... it is amazing. SOmetimes when the B12 is low, no matter how many "right" things you do to manage the EPI, nothing will really work well until the B12 is taken care of!
