Re: NINA
Olesia--Not forcing affection on her...I'd have never thought of that. Thank you, and also for your kind words about Tucker. On this forum, it's almost like we get to know each others' dogs after awhile, isn't it? Jill, thank you. Wish me luck! Sounds like I'll be doing myself a favor if I take her ...

This will be a bittersweet and lengthy post, about two well-loved EPI doggies. Some of this will be a repeat, but as the day draws near, I'm a little nervous & I could use some support. Some of you know that last November I lost my Tucker, my sweetheart, my boyfriend dog, who will never be repla...

Re: For those of you with puppies...
Every summer the K9 unit comes to our summer camp to put on a show for the kids, and the only reward those dogs get (GSDs and Malinois) is a ball to hold in their mouth. They are so excited when it is given to them. ---Pam

Hi There--- I have read that metro can really mess with the gut, so I'm glad they are off it. Two things---Introduce Proviable slowly. Maybe less than half the dose at first, and gradually build up to the recommended dose in a few days. Giving the entire amount from the start can cause diarrhea. ---...

Re: Elvira, 10.5 month old GSD, recently diagnosed.
Julie--- In case this hasn't already been stated---You should feed her 150% the amount of food you would give her at her IDEAL weight, not what she weighs now. This will help with her weight gain, and like you said, she'd eat the moon, because she is used to feeling hungry. Tucker weighed 60, should...

Re: Quick question
Noooooo, I didn't know about feeding her that - they didn't tell me to do that! They just said her regular amount. Wow. I had no idea Pam. I appreciate the info. I have just been split feeding the five cups. Oh, she soooo won't mind getting more food. What is the reason in adding the extra? I am a ...
