You might be talking about a pyrethrin spray. I would stay away from that as well.
I am talking about a lidocaine or antibacterial spray. It should alleviate the itching for a while, and possibly help it not get worse.

Hi,
My dog Jyn has been doing really well on enzorb, pre and pro biotics and a gastrointestinal food.
But the last couple of days he's been passing hard dry stool, I haven't changed anything regarding his meds or diet so...

I,too had good luck with pumpkin, Hopefully, when the steroids are finished, you will see improvement.

Now that you have the correct diagnosis... you can proceed :)

As mentioned by others, i would start supplementing with B12... i personally used Wonderlabs Pet Factor B12.

Also.... i agree with your vet but not for the same...
