Sallie, have we established that Ruger was fasted from all except water for twelve hours prior to his blood draw?

Re: Ruger - New Case Trying to Stabilize
Hey Sallie, even though it's not EPI (yet?), keep writing. So many members have dealt with other issues as well as EPI, and you are bound to get some good advice. I wonder if Ruger may be one of the dogs that segue into EPI over time. Tucker was always underweight, and he ate everything in the house...

Re: Ruger - New Case Trying to Stabilize
Hi Sallie, and welcome to you and to Ruger. We have all been where you are now, and I'm sure you are feeling overwhelmed, tired of diarrhea, and thinking of making adjustments to the financial aspect of this EPI thing. I will restate some of what Jean has already said. EPI treatment is made up of fo...

Re: Hi all new member here 👋🏼😊
Hi Tara---
Welcome from Florida. I admit I just skimmed through your post, so I don't know whether this was mentioned---
Toby needs to eat 150% the amount of food that is recommended for his IDEAL weight, broken up into 3-4 meals & enzymed accordingly.
Apologies if this is repetitive.

Re: Adjusting Enzymes
Hi Jenn. Welcome to you and Buddy. Sorry he's not doing great. Since you haven't got the results of his tests back yet, I'll just give you the abridged version--- (Did Buddy fast for 12 hours before his blood draw? Three days is too soon to judge his poo, I think. Definitely want to give 3 teaspoons...

Re: EPI Dog with intermittent swollen lip
Sounds like you've got all the usual suspects covered. Since it happens after rough play with his brother, could there possibly be some sweat gland or other gland located near that spot on his lip? Or a salivary gland that has a blockage? It's not like he would always get bumped or nipped in the exa...

Re: Pre and Probiotics for SIBO?
Debbie--- Have you considered Tylan for SID? I ask because Tucker takes 1/16 teaspoon daily, also Proviable & slippery elm. Occasionally SID flares up, but for the most part he does well on our routine. --- Pam

Re: Autoimmune issues causing EPI?
Hi, Louisa, and welcome. I am so sorry your sweet Belle has so much going on. Corgis are so precious. Staff will soon come in and do the best answer your questions, but in the meantime, will you please post all your test results, what you are feeding Belle, and what your EPI regimen is? Thank you---...
