No question is dumb! Most dogs that are diagnosed with Epi also have SID. You ususlly can diagnose it by symptoms: sloppy poops, rumbling tummy, gas, acid reflux. Also low B12 encourages SID so you need to make sure the B12 level is in the upper high range. A high folate number can indicate SID also...

Since it is not Epi I was wondering if any blood levels were off that could help you to go in a direction.

Interesting thank you. I am not sure the enzymes are doing anything since Epi nor Pancreatitis is present.
Maybe an IBD?
Are all his blood results good?

The Tli score of 13.3 is in the normal range indicating your pup does not have Epi.
The B12 and Folate are in normal range. Has he been checked for parasites?
