Nikki – October 27, 2001 – January 26, 2019 Nikki was my son’s 8th birthday gift, but from the moment we brought her home she and I were inseparable. I was on bedrest at the time and she cuddled with me all day. I’ve had a lot of dogs in my lifetime, but Nikki and I shared a bond like no other. I needed her as much as she needed me.
Nikki was diagnosed with EPI in late 2010. I have this group to thank for her diagnosis. She got sick in the fall and as she became sicker and sicker I began to search the internet after the vet couldn’t figure out what was wrong. This group led me to ask for testing to confirm her EPI diagnosis. Because of the group she began to recover and lead a long, happy life.
I’ll miss you sweet girl. Loved you then, love you still. Always have, always will.
