Leslie’s Basenji “Dash”. He was diagnosed with EPI when he was 1 year old. He will be 8 years old in January so he has been living with EPI for 7 years. He is doing great!! Before EPI, Dash was 35 lbs, his low weight was 21 lbs. He now is holding steady at a nice solid 32 lbs.My original vet did not diagnose Dash correctly and he just kept losing weight. I really thought we were going to lose him. Through research I found the Epi4Dogs website and armed with good information I approached a new vet and she was more than happy to work with me. We got a positive EPI identification shortly after. She loves Dash as much as I do and has been a terrific partner!
